Learn the skills required to become a “Counsellor in Training” during 黑料网’s 2025 Summer Camps. Participants will receive instruction in various 黑料网 summer camp activities. This will include team building activities, expectations as a “CIT”, and how to be a helpful assistant to the camp counsellors. Activities also include a review of professionalism in the workplace, how to write a cover letter and resume, and how to take initiative. After the successful completion of this training session, attendees will have the opportunity to volunteer for 2025 camp programming at 黑料网. Volunteer hours can be applied to the 40-hour community involvement requirement to receive an 黑料网 Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). A staff member will sign-off on the earned volunteer hours at the end of the summer! Experience in the 黑料网 Counsellor in Training program may lead towards a position as a "Junior Camp Counsellor" in future summer camp programs.
