Chasing Shadows 2 – Preparing for the Total Solar Eclipse: April 1

After selling out the Regent Theatre, Dr. Rupinder Brar, Senior Teaching Professor of Astronomy and Physics with ºÚÁÏÍø’s Faculty of Science, brings his solar eclipse talk to the university’s north Oshawa campus location. On Monday, April 1 at 2:15 p.m., join other ºÚÁÏÍø staff, faculty and students in Science Building, Room 1350 to prepare for and learn all about southern ºÚÁÏÍø’s upcoming total solar eclipse set to occur on the afternoon of Monday, April 8. Dr. Brar will engage and enlighten you on the science of eclipses and empower you to safely view the eclipse yourself. There won’t be another total solar eclipse passing through southern ºÚÁÏÍø this century, so come get ready for this rare event.
