Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science to host second-annual Research Day - February 20

The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science (FEAS) Research Day brings undergraduate and graduate students, faculty members, representatives from government and funding agencies, and industry professionals together in an event that highlights the innovative research activities conducted by FEAS at ºÚÁÏÍø. This year's theme is Pathways Towards Net-Zero Emissions: The Role of Smart, Sustainable Development

Join FEAS for a day of expert panels, a poster session, research lab tours, and remarks from keynote speakers Dr. Les Jacobs, Vice-President, Research and Innovation; and Dr. Hossam Kishawy, FEAS Dean. Panel topics include:

  • Industry 4.0 and sustainability
  • Energy supply and electrification
  • Artificial intelligence and mobility systems
  • Pathways toward net-zero emissions

When: Tuesday, February 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: Science Building (register in the Atrium upon arrival; sessions will take place in various rooms within the building)
