Campus Safety Week – January 9 to 13
ºÚÁÏÍø is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy learning, living, social, recreational and working environment for all members of the campus community.
During Campus Safety Week (Monday, January 9 through Friday, January 13), the university’s Office of Campus Safety (OCS) will share a series of videos and other resources that highlight campus safety services and how various areas and initiatives across the university help keep our campus community safe.
Areas of focus will include:
- Campus Emergency Response Team
- Campus Health Centre
- Campus residence
- Campus Walk Program
- Emergency guidelines (lockdown vs. secure-and-hold)
- Information Technology Services
- Paragon Security
- Sexual violence
- Student conduct

In addition, on Friday, January 13 OCS will conduct a and test the push notifications sent by Alertus, the university’s mass emergency notification system. If you haven’t done so already, download and install the free Alertus Mobile App on your iPhone or Android mobile device to ensure you receive these notifications.
