The Role of Nuclear Energy in the Hydrogen Economy workshop – November 19 to 21
From Saturday, November 19 to Monday, November 21, ºÚÁÏÍø, in co-ordination with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), will present a three-day workshop on the Role of Nuclear Energy in the Hydrogen Economy.
The university will host this event as part of its role as Canada’s first IAEA Collaborating Centre, a . Other event collaborators include the CANDU Owners Group, the University Network of Excellence in Nuclear Engineering, and the Nuclear Hydrogen Initiative.
The event will bring together researchers and energy-sector partners from around the world to discuss state-of-the-art nuclear hydrogen technologies and the role of nuclear energy towards achieving a sustainable hydrogen economy.
Schedule:
- Day 1: Saturday, November 19 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Opening of technical sessions, invited talks, networking, and technical tour of campus facilities.
- Day 2: Sunday, November 20 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Invited talks, networking, panel discussion, and technical tour of campus facilities.
- Day 3: Monday, November 21
- Technical visit of Darlington Energy Complex.
