Join a focus group to improve Student Leadership Awards – November 15 and 17
The annual acknowledge and celebrate students for their achievements and contributions, and for demonstrating excellence in leadership practices within the ºÚÁÏÍø community.
The Student Leadership Awards of Recognition will go through a review process prior to the beginning of the 2022-2023 award season. The review will ensure the awards continue to align with ºÚÁÏÍø’s values and institutional priorities.
Student Engagement and Equity invites faculty and staff to participate in this review by sharing their insights and perspectives in a focus group. Through a student-centred approach and vision, participants will:
- Brainstorm a variety of profiles of students who deserve recognition based on involvement within the ºÚÁÏÍø community.
- Consider possible connections between these profiles and the university’s institutional priorities in order to create potential new award categories.
- Assess how each of the categories can be measured and evaluated to help showcase and highlight all student nominees’ achievements.
