Participate in the five-kilometre run/walk in support of the Kimberley Black Scholarship fund – June 11
On Saturday, June 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., join the first in-person five-kilometre run/walk event led by the university’s Faculty of Education to raise funds for the . The scholarship is presented to a female graduate student at ºÚÁÏÍø who demonstrates a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
- Registration fee: $40 (includes event T-shirt)
The event will feature:
- Opening remarks and run kick-off by Kimberley Black.
- Live music by Rob Tardik, a multi-award winning guitarist and contemporary pop/jazz/world/fusion instrumental music artist.
- Food (for a nominal fee) and jumping castle.
- Opportunity to bid on some great silent auction items.
Silent auction is open until Saturday, June 11 at 1 p.m.
