New appointments in School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies: Assistant Dean and Manager
The university’s School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (SGPS) announces the appointment of Dr. Ami Mamolo as Assistant Dean, effective Thursday, July 1, for a two-year term. Dr. Mamolo is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education and is a researcher in mathematics education. Over the past 15 years, she has taught and mentored graduate and postdoctoral students at three universities. She has also served on program committees for existing and proposed new education graduate programs. Dr. Mamolo will be particularly involved with the graduate engagement portfolio.
SGPS bids farewell to Andra Drinkwalter, Manager, Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs, who has accepted a new position as Director, Student Financial Assistance and Enrolment Services, Office of the Registrar, effective Monday, July 5.
Alena Shah joined the team as Manager, Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs on June 16. She has been with ºÚÁÏÍø for over 10 years and is well versed in the university’s operations, programs and governance. She is passionate about graduate studies and graduate student success. She holds a Master of Education from York University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education with Western University.
