Dr. Thomas McMorrow, Associate Professor, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, will share his expertise in a discussion related to a new book, Legal Recognition of Non-Conjugal Families: New Frontiers in Family Law in the US, Canada and Europe, by , Postdoctoral Researcher at the .
Dr. Palazzo will introduce her book, which illustrates that insufficient recognition of new families is a legal problem that needs fixing in light of recent evolutions in family patterns and normative conceptions of 'family'. A roundtable discussion will follow.
