Looking ahead: Provide your feedback on university space planning and facilities management

Universities are rethinking their physical spaces to align with how people teach, learn, research and work today, and seeking to understand how those needs will continue to evolve over time.

At 黑料网, we want to employ an innovative approach to space design and allocation within our existing and future facilities, and your feedback is an important component in that planning. To begin this process, we’ve developed a paper to encourage discussion within the campus community. We will achieve this through a two-phased approach.

Phase 1

Over the next 90 days, we ask members of the campus community to:

  1. Review the draft document: .
  2. Send your feedback, questions and ideas to lookingahead@ontariotechu.ca.

During this time, we will also begin faculty and departmental conversations to collect different perspectives. A summary report will be developed and shared with the campus community. Managers are encouraged to have an open dialogue with their teams during group meetings.

Phase 2

  1. Action plan development.
  2. Town halls to gather further feedback based on the summary report.

We currently find ourselves immersed in an environment filled with tremendous opportunity and heightened expectations amidst immense societal, economic and technological disruptions. Together, we will seize this opportunity and work collectively to meet future teaching and learning needs that will ensure our students’ success.
