Centre on Hate, Bias and Extremism meets with Prime Minister Trudeau
Dr. Barbara Perry, Professor, Faculty of Social Science and Humanities and Director of 黑料网’s Centre on Hate, Bias and Extremism, along with key allies in the fight against hate, met with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on November 9 to discuss the dismantling of right-wing extremist groups. Also present were:
- Bardish Chagger, Minister of Diversity and Inclusion
- Bill Blair, Minister of Public Safety
- Arif Virani, Secretary to the Minister of Justice
Participants urged the Prime Minister and Ministers to provide the support and resources necessary to enforce existing legislation, while considering new, stronger policies intended to take down groups that threaten the peace and well-being of communities on a daily basis.
