Deadline to submit feedback on School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Dean renewal – February 21
Langis Roy, PhD, Dean, School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, has indicated that he would like to be considered for a second term of service as Dean. Dr. Roy has provided a self-evaluation summary that outlines his significant past accomplishments as well as his vision for a second term. ºÚÁÏÍø faculty and staff can review a copy of this self-evaluation document in:
- Dean’s office - Campus Corners, Room 1400; or
- Office of the Provost – Energy Systems and Nuclear Science Research Centre, Room 3030.
In accordance with the university’s and , the university has appointed members of the Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Renewal Advisory Committee (RAC).
The university invites faculty, staff and graduate students to provide their confidential feedback on the suitability of Dr. Roy for renewal by 4 p.m. on Friday, February 21.
Acceptable feedback formats:
- Signed paper copy submitted to the Provost’s office.
- Signed email from your ontariotechu.ca email account sent to provost@ontariotechu.ca.
Your name, signature and any other identifying information will be removed before the RAC receives and reviews it. The RAC will consider your feedback together with Dr. Roy’s accomplishments during his first term as Dean and his vision for the future. The RAC will discuss the Dean’s self-evaluation material and community feedback, and will provide a feedback summary to the Dean. Dr. Roy will have the opportunity to respond to the feedback of the RAC in writing or in person at a subsequent RAC meeting. The RAC will then provide a recommendation to President Steven Murphy regarding renewal.
